TROPES ::
About Me :: I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts called Acushnet and somehow ended up at West Point before spending a good chunk of my life bouncing around the South with the Army—and then again as a civilian. Eventually, I made my way back up north for a bit, but warmer weather called my name, so now I’m happily settled in Northwest Florida with my sassy wife and a couple of lazy dogs who take their jobs very seriously. Writing about myself in third person feels goofy, so let’s just say—if you ever want to talk books, stories, or the weird turns life takes, drop me a note.
About my books :: I write the kind of stories I love to read—the ones that make you laugh, keep you guessing, and pull you into places you didn’t expect to go. My favorite books always balance a little chaos with a bit of heart, and I try to do the same. You’ll find plenty of wild twists, questionable decisions, and characters who refuse to behave, but mostly I hope you find an escape. If my stories give you a few hours of adventure or a good chuckle, then I’ve done my job.
To the brave bastion of intrepid readers who devour my stories with fantastical fervor, I simply say, “Thank you.” Like each of you, I turn to books and the tantalizing tales within to momentarily flee the confines of reality, giving my mind free rein to wander. My book of choice is both entertaining and educational while making me chuckle at its outlandish situations and characters. It has no shortage of gasp-worthy plot twists or well-placed MacGuffins, and without conscious thought, the story transports me to otherworldly settings, pushing my imagination to new heights as the rip-roaring adventure unfolds and hijinks ensue. So, again, I say thank you to those folks who embrace my stories and genuinely hope you find a bit of escape, or whatever else you’re looking for, in their pages.
